Great catalogue for reasonable price!!!!
Hello!
Some time ago there was a huge exhibition in Warsaw of private collection of Ryszard Janiak. He's got absolutely amazing collection of arms and decorative art from XVI-XIX c, including breathtaking sabres, armors, firearms etc from Poland (amazing examples of karabelas - around 20 pieces!, hussars sabres, hussars armors), Ottoman empire, Persia, Western Europe and even Japan. With the exhibition there was a huge catalogue, with over 700 objects, on over 600 pages, with paralell Polish and ENGLISH text, with one exception - basic descriptions of objects are in Polish but all commentaries and additional notes are translated. Unfortunatelly the book was printed in very limited copies and was sold immediatelly - now you can find it as second handed for the prices around 160-200 USD! But now there is a CD with this great catalogue, including two PDF files, with addition of not printed in the book appendix of 120 pages with even more objects! So overall there are about 400 military pieces. The question is who wants it? I'm taking requests - please email me: wolviex_pl@yahoo.com I'm waiting ca. 7 days. I will try to get CD for everybody interested, but If I won't be able to do it, then order of request will count. PRICE: 21 EUROS including shipment and bubble envelope PAYMENT through PAYPAL - everybody interested will get email with details after I get CD for you. Other payment ways possible, but only after contact me. Few links to the pictures of the book and CD. Pictures on CD are much better quality of course, these are taken from the book. Got mine yesterday! Wonderful pictures and information. I also like being able to use a "Find" function in an electronic book.
FI "search and give me all the spears." Better than a paper book. Thanks, also! |

Thank you great feedback! Yes, E-books has it's advantage. I still prefer paper but when I have to search for one single information I saw somewhere and can't remember where - then ebooks and "find" option is a real help and save-timer
The CD is still available for those who missed it few weeks ago. Best! |
