Default Dagger

Should be very grateful for opinions about this dagger....
Bought in a trip to Saudi Arabia back in the late 1950's. Scabbard is solid brass. Interesting handle with multicolor inlays and panels bordered with wire.

Best,
Stefan

Syrian, looks new for '60's, Plastic grips?. I am not fond of these, too flashy and look touristy even if they are not.

Hi Stefan,

Yes, it's a very recent majdali, handle will be like from Kronckew stated plastic. See for much better and older examples here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=23708

Regards,
Detlef
