Default African (?)

found this one. picked it up at a reasonable price.
described as an antique african club, but i couldn't find any similar ones.
reminded me of some fijian ones, tho less well carved.
vendors pictures. will post better ones on arrival.

34 in. long head is 2.5 in wide, appears to be flattened.

Hi Kronckew

I could be wrong, but I would guess from the shape, type of wood and pokerwork on that staff that is probably from Angola. I would suggest the tribe as Ovimbundu, but also possibly Chokwe or similar.
