Default Ashmolean Oxford.

Visited this museum Monday this week. Has a few interesting weapons on display but not a weapon specialist museum. I took a few snap that I think all will find worth a look at. This is nice a gun from the English civil war. It looks rather fancy for a ordinary foot soldier perhaps a sporting gun for gentlemen of the day. one or two more to follow. The end sight look too fancy for those that stood up in a line to be shot at.

I thought this was interesting. Thing do not change that much, writing slogans on bombs for instance. Hope it will not unset any of the delicate minded. Roman lead sling shot.
