	I'd say both are Moroccan, based on the construction of the hilt. The sword is intriguing though...the markings are very interesting. They remind me of Touareg work, but of course it is Berber. The blade could be of European origin I think. The knife is a "khodme" based on the knives traditionally produced in Bou-Saada. The hilt deviates from the usual, in that it resembles that of a Shula/S'Bula knife, also Moroccan and Algerian. In any case both pieces are from the Maghreb, 19th-20th century I guess.
