A very large antique Swedish sword

Found this on the ARMA website, from what I gathered it's from a Swedish museum.

That thing is a monster, but I love it, what all can you guys tell me about it?

This news paper cutting from today, may shed some light on the link you post.

I think the stuff in the link may be more modern than 19 cent.

Sword phooie; I don't want to meet the guy that thing was made for.

It was probably just an oversized display item for a retail establishment.
