Default Tagalog saber for comment and/or sample comparison

Greetings- I've been trying to research on this particular blade profile- what looks like a blinged-up Tagalog saber with a clipped upper edge (half the total spine length), but so far I haven't had much luck with any associated terminologies. Curious if other people in the forum have a similar sample, or have heard any terms used for this...TIA!

Very nice sword Xas! Congrats for this very nice find.
Here is mine with a very similar blade shape. Tagalok as well?
66 cm overall, blade 52 cm, spine 8 mm behind the handle.

The term "matulis" has been overused, and understandably so, because there are a lot of Luzon profiles which converge on sharp points.

But the true matulis profile looks like a needle. Thin profile, almost straight with hardly a belly, and a notably acute upper-plane tip. Like an elongated spike.

Greetings Detlef, thank you and you got a very nice sword as well! That is also Tagalog. We call that profile "uhas tari" or "sharp spur."

In your next post, the first is sungot hipon (shrimp's tip); the second is a dahong palay variant, the third is also uhas tari.
