Found this at an outdoor market for the price of a medium-fancy meal for two. Sheath covered with thin leather. Heavy blade; at first glance doesn't look like "hairpin folding". Full length 15 1/2 inches. Blade 11 inches. The back is 1/4 in. thick at the back of the hilt. I would love more info.

Thank you! I was wondering about its origin.
Is there a chance that the blade has 'hairpin folding', or is it (Probably) monosteel? Do you think it would be worthwhile to try etching it? |

If you can try to post the two sides of the dagger, that could help. I think it's probably not but... who knows
