Very nice find Detlef, I wish the smaller auctions around where I live would produce items like these. Unfortunately it seems as though everything of any interest (to me always) always find their way to epray instead, where the bargains seem to be getting fewer and fewer though I still get lucky every once in a while. Again, my congratulations on your new finds.

Best,
Robert

Agree with you that the bargains by epray get fewer and fewer and I think that I am and you not inculpable by this. There are a lot of collectors who have read our posts here at this place. But the States are a great place to find items of your interest so I am sure that you will come over in the future with great finds.

Regards,

Detlef

After some maintenance the trumbash look now like this. Have cleaned the blade, oiled the wood and fixed the brass wire in up and down. What I have learend here at the forum is this example from around 1900.
