Preserved at the Castle Collection of Grandson, Switzerland, and correctly dated in their description.

The coat-of-arms has not been identified; it looks French to me. Of cast bronze; the integrally cast tpan was obviously never designed to hold a cover, just like a similar barrel in the Royal Amouries Leeds; there is not a trace of a rivet. The tiller stock missing. This is one of a tiny group of barrels known to be equiped with additional trunnions, especially as it is only 98.1 cm long; bore 22 mm.
