Dear members
I would like to submit you for comments this keris and confirm the origin . Malela blade with hulu Perkaka . Difficult to source the wood quality : one face of the sarong is gloss finish and the other one not at all due to patina from extensive use . Blade looks like pretty aged . Pendokok may be moulded brass and pretty unusual for this kind of keris . Henri |

Nice keris Henri, but i must point out that this is the second one you have posted in the wrong forum. All keris postings belong in the Keris Warung Kopi forum. Thanks.

Hi,
I like the hilt. It has added details not found on the common specimens, and it is carved well enough. Hilt and blade are Pattani. The sheath may not be original, since it looks more Terengganu in style. The batang is unusual. I don't see this sort of wood used normally. |

Hi Henri,
The blade looks like it has been extensively cleaned in the past already. I don't think it needs any further cleaning now. Probably just oil it a bit. |
