Default What kind of tools are used to carve a keris?

I'm interested in finding out what kind of tools are used to do the complex carving and shaping of a keris blade after forging.

What old-style and newer tools would be used?

I can't find it right now, but i think i remember a recent thread where Alan posted images of his own inherited carving tools. Maybe he can direct us to it.

Post 59 in the meteoric patrem thread has pics of some of my tools.

As David says, I also posted a pic of Empu Suparman's tools, but I don't know where.
