Gold?

Hi all, I have this yataghan with inlaid on the blade. Seems to me brass but who knows, could be gold

How I can test it? what do you think just looking at the pics? Thank you guys

If it wasn't tarnished Flavio, it's most likely gold.
Seems like a lot of trouble to go to, to inlay brass.

Looks like it may be a little tarnished. Maybe brass - not unusual for these. Best bet is to go to a jeweler and they can test it there.......
