Ram Dao

21" long. The seller claims it is early to mid 19th century. Seems well made despite a few grind marks which may be common to choppers of this variety. From India.

Definite fake! Don't even waste your time asking questionsabout it: people will lie to you just to keep you in a good mood.

Now, seriously: a very, very nice one! How thick is the blade? In Israel, Artzi's friend showed me a humongous Ram Dao with the blade's base as thick as my thumb! That was enough to decapitate a hippo!

But I got it from China and it was only 99 cents and $750 shipping! Seller said it was Neolithic Dynasty! Mega old!

This is a small one at only 21" long. The blade is about 5/16" thick. Good size for goats and college professors.
