I've seen a similar club with the origin identified as Ingessana, but I wouldn't be surprised if this one was Turkana. The Pitt Rivers Museum has a very good website of images of things from Southern Sudan, which should have some pictures of similar clubs

I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL OF THESE FLAT AFRICAN THROWING CLUBS. I HAVE BID ON A FEW I LIKED, BUT NEVER WON ONE. AS I CAN MAKE NO DIRECT OBSERVATION OF SUCH A CLUB I WILL ADD SOME PICTURES AND INFORMATION I HAVE ON SIMILAR AFRICAN CLUBS FOR COMPARISON.

club arrived, decent patina, a few small cracks near the pommel end. just over a metre long, 310 grams. transitions from round haft to a squashed hexagonal x-section befor flattening out to the flared end.flat edges on the flaired areas. bit long for throwing. nice head basher.
