hi kris people, i have a new kris and i love it because it has wayang figures on the blade. i love the wayang kulit. what do you think......thanks............jimmy

Wow, nice IMO .
If it's an old blade it may have been altered recently by adding the figures; then again it may well be a newer one . The sunggigan (painting) looks quite well done . Can you give us real closeups of the scabbard top and the carving on the blade ? |

Jimmy, to my mind there is no question that these wayang figures have been added in contemporary times to an older blade. The painting is also rather contemporary and nicely done as far as i can see.
