Javanese Wedung for sale

For sale a Wedung. These were carried by inhabitants of a javanese court (Keraton).

This example represents an older type. Two (of four) rattan bands are still in the place, securing the Sangkletan (belt hook, made from horn) firmly. The sheath is cracked (visible in picture); no other cracks or faults.

Older specimens like this one are quite rare.
