Here is the last hold-out of my ethno collection...sigh. Bills are bills, so here goes.
Late 19th century (?) Afghan choora and leather covered scabbard, classic T-back blade of hefty proportion, 16" total with a 11 1/4" blade. Horn slat grips with line carving. Steel bolster has an interesting design near the hilt, resembles a ladder (Ladder of Allah? Not my area of expertise) and a pineapple?? Blade point has very slight bend from use, blade edge is immaculate with only slight smudging/no rust, pitting, or chips. Scabbard leather has come undone at the tip, easily repaired. I'm asking $225 (a very fair price, I think, considering what some sites want), plus shipping. Let me know if you are interested! |
