picked this unknown item up on ebay recently for a price that couldn't be passed up. Once we figure out what it is, we can certainly make a new handle.
any guesses? |

Looks like a Siraui to me... so a curved knobby handle... how curved it up to you. Some were barely curved, and others so much that holding it conventionally with the edge out/down feels awkward.

How long is the blade? Looks small and more like a piso raut to me. Utility knife, possibly vintage?
You'll also need a new scabbard. Regards, Kai |

Kai, i plan to do some cleaning of it today so just measured and it is 6.5"/16.25cm. Rather small.
Scabbards are a skill i'm still working to develope and yes it could have a better one. it is odd that it is so cut down, almost seems reworked from something else |
