Old and Large Central-South African Shield

The gentleman who originally collected this in Africa traveled extensively through central and southern African during the 1950s. Unfortunately, he has passed away, so I am unable to ask him where exactly he collected it. He had a large collection of items he collected during his time in Africa, all authentic, which included several arms & armor related items - about a half-dozen spears and this shield. I cannot find an exact match in Benitez and Barbier's Shields: Africa, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. It is large, measuring 44 inches / 112cm in length and about half that in width.

Priced at $350 + shipping at cost, PP accepted.
