Hello forum,
my name is dirk and I am glad to be a new meber to this forum.

On this occasion I will show you some parts of my small collection.
First two swords, which I would locate to central africa and seem to be before 1950.
Second one a sword which I can t locate or estimate how old this could be, your suggestions are very welcome.
Third picture will show the handles of these three swords before.
And the last is my best part a japanese yari from around 1800.

I hope the attachment of the pictures will be ok, so you can see it

Welcome Dirk !

The unidentified one is a Sikin panjang.
Try the search function and you will find quite some info on Sikin's.
They are from Atjeh and often date around 1900.

Welcome to the forum!! Very nice pieces that you have shown so far. I'm really interested in seeing more of your collection, especially more of the items hinted at in the picture with the yari.

there ist a medieval halberd an a newer african lance head. May I can take pictures at the weekend

Hello robert
here are the pics from the halberd in my opinion from around 1700.
and two african speerheads which seem to be not very old , may some one can help here (but they have a very sharp edge).
The hafts i do by myself for those three items.
