Just picked up these two items. Both appear to be from the same stable as the scabbard style and blade decoration is the same.
The knife handle is a mix of copper and brass. Overall 40cm. Blade is 23cm The sword is 66cm overall with a 43cm blade, and the scabbard has an arm band similar to those on the Sudanese arm daggers. Any comments or suggestions as to ID would be very welcome. Stu |

They are blades of the Tuareg people, probably of Niger; the arm dagger (the largest) is called "telek" and is characterized by the typical cross hilt, with inclined arms.
