Not certain of the origins (Shona?) or possible age of this knife. Blade is double edged, sharp and has forging and filing marks. The handle and sheath are carved wood almost entirely covered in thin copper wire, braided in places and intricately 'woven'. Has age....too good for a tourist piece...
Any ideas, comments..........thankyou |

Hi Flavio,
thanks ![]() Apparently (the one for sale) is dated very early 20th century....is that a possible date for this one?.... are these common...or is it something a little more special ? |
