I've just won these two sickle knives from India (?) by a German auction house.
The one with the broader blade is only 30 cm long and the one with the slender blade is 42 cm long. Pictures are from the auction house. All comments, special about the exact origin, are very welcome! |

Top one looks like a bank.
Artzi has some in his "sold" site: http://www.oriental-arms.co.il/searc...nk&s.x=0&s.y=0 |

I'd broaden the search range for this piece to all over Southeast (and central?) Asia, too. Regards, Kai |

Thank you but I have to agree with Kai, the sold ones from Artzi look different. Regards, Detlef |

I doubt a Southeast Asian origin because the "mail piercing" tip of the blade, never seen something like this from SEA. But like always I can be wrong. Regards, Detlef |
