indian bichwa ? British blade ?

Hello,

I'd like to buy this knife,
the seller tell me it come from India and is almost 50 years old,
the shape of the blade is interesting and often seen in india but the blade has the engraving EC Works.
Does somebody know this brand ?
Do you think it can be an old british blade transformed in India ?
Is it just crap ?

R.C.Works or R.C.Works? there's a cutlers street in london EC district. i like the knife. doesn't look like a bichwa tho. looks more european.

I agree with Wayne, and very much like this dagger, which while not technically 'bichwa', it is clearly a rendition so intended. Personally I have been fascinated with British India most of my life, and these kinds of hybridizations are in my view intriguing .

Even though not 'old', the traditions and confluences of both Indian and British cultures are well represented and mindful of the colorful history of the Raj.
