this African spear is very unusual and any info would be very welcome , whats different is that it has a silver globe ornament attached, it has I metal spike the other end which is slightly flat , total length193cm ,

I'd like to see detail of any markings on the spear head to the left of the on in question to confirm a suspicion I have.

Looks like the sort of quality Sudanese version of Indo/Persian work. This kind of embellishment can be found in many parts of Africa where Islam had influence? Like tabouka/kaskara form swords?

The spear with the silver ball is probably from the Somalia region. Is the blade socket faceted ?
