can identify you this unfinished knife handle is missing, I have the impression that the blade was manufactured in a file, there are marks on the blade!!
the guard was soldered to the brass or copper |

Sorry but I can't see ant marks from a file. Could you please send some better/sharper/bettter ligthened pictures.
File marks does not always mean that the blade was made from a file, as a file could also have been used to sharpen the blade, and the marks not removed afterwards. Jens |
