Came along this tombak on a (military)collectors fair.

Close ups of the blade and especially it's base please .
If you can remove the blade from the handle it would be possibly helpful to see the tang . Also measurements . The point does not look quite right . Possibly shortened .. ![]() |

The tombak blade material, I like. But somehow as Rick had mentioned the flow of the luks, seems awkward.. Looking at the close-up pics, there is a possibility of a shortened blade as the blade is pointing sideways..

Yes, the surface near the tip looks different than the rest of the spear (no pitting) .
This may have been reshaped at some point . I think it has real age . |
