Dear all,
I am posting here pictures of a knife my dad brought from Nepal, two decades ago. I have not been able to identify it. I would like to hear your opinions on what is this item. The tang is full and has two planes riveted to it for a handle, I could not determine the material. The back of the blade is rather thick, around 0.5cm. |

An interesting knife. Looks like it might have been sharpened nearly straight, thus it might have had a "belly" like the kukri at one time.
