Default Ottoman? kard knife

I acquired this recently. Turkish or Ottoman Balkan? kard or something else? I would call it exactly Turkish if the hilt's top didnt have a human figure something like a man climbing a rock or holding a torch?? Such a human figure is quite unusual for an Ottoman period Moslem's preferences, that is why I am confused. Hilt and scabbard mountings are high grade silver, scabbard has light chiselling with snake figures (most probably symbolizing Sahmeran), but the hilt is a very nice sample of silver work and is gold washed. Strong blade.

regards

Sure, here is a snakes picture from a different angle. The chiselling is not a perfect sample of its kind, but clearly enough symbolizes several snakes tied to eachother and are definite with their heads.
