Something I picked up recently, a well made working talibong. The hilt has been wrapped in twine and unfortunately the scabbard has a rather serious crack that will need to be repaired. The still exremely sharp blade is 17 inches in length, 1-13/16 inches at its widest and slightly over 3/8 inch thick at the hilt. Any comments welcome.
Best, Robert |

Hey Robert, looks like a nice, honest worker to me. I appreciate the no-frills simplicity and that nice meaty blade. Looks sharp...

Hello David, and thank you. My reasons for acquiring this are for the exact reasons you mentioned. And yes, the blade is very sharp which the laceration on one of my fingers can attest to from when I did the initial cleaning after its arrival.
