Asian (?) Sword - help needed - Ethnographic Arms & Armour

I bought this sword without knowing its origin, I just liked it immediately, despite it is a little bit clumsy. It is rather large, 95 cm, and quite heavy. The scabbard is made of wood with a leather cover. All metal parts are of iron. No inscriptions or marks on them. I would guess that it comes from Central Asia and would appreciate your comments.
