hmmmm....well, i am afraid that it is not all clear to me. It has been my understanding, perhaps a wrong one, that the word "pakem" as we in the world of keris expect it to mean refers to the rules of dhapurs of keris as determined by a particular keraton. I would expect that there might be some differences between the pakem of different keraton. I am willing to believe that pakem may change somewhat from one king to the next in the same keraton, but i am afraid i have a hard time excepting that there can be a "Gronemann pakem" or "Ranggawarsita Pakem".
Certainly there is no "David pakem".
