The long inscription is:

Bu bıçağın darbesinden cümle düşman tar ü mar
İntikam alır aduvvdan sanki misli zülfikar

All enemies scatter from the strike of this sword
It takes revenge from enemy as if it is zulfikar (Caliph Ali's sword)
