the first is possibly a 'dance' or ceremonial spear. The second looks like a scabbard (Saya ??) with Japanese, or possibly Chinese fittings. All I can think of is that the metal 'end piece' has a 'blade-shaped' attachment that is fixed inside the scabbard..... to form some sort of club
Or some sort of staff made from discarded WW2 Japanese scabbards (the fittings look similar to that period) , have you any history to this item
