The trouble with Javanese kerises is that there are so many "skillful" keris makers in Java & Madura. Most of the times, appraising the likely age of the keris by looking at pictures alone is almost an impossible task. This example looks like having an age, but at the same time my instinct tells me it's quite "young" but artificially aged, judging from the sorsoran and ricikan. But I cannot tell with absolute certainty
