Perhaps, the hardest puasa/fasting is NGRAME [whatever you do is to serve for the goodness (other people, other creatures, nature etc) without any hiden agenda].
why do your friend mutih fasting since 1st of Suro during njamasi/bathing pusaka? the should be a purpose behind?
