I saw this blade in Thailand, but have no idea if it fits in a catagory.
the blade is about 25 cm long and very thick 10mm and has simple thai engravings with a wooden scabbard and handle, the handle is about 10 cm long.
I posted this on the blade design forum, and Mark Bowditch sugested I ask here.
