Jim, I'm thinking that Vlad Tepes had some nice Ottoman blades as well. I don't recall ever hearing about or seeing his personal effects but I'll look into it. Last year I saw a gorgeous gilded pala in the presidential palace in Bucharest. I don't recall the name of its past owner.
