Thank you Mr. Maisey, and yes I just took the description from the auctionhouse for describing the Tombak. I have a book called: Tosan Aji (precious metal) and the second part of the book is dedicated to the Tombak. The book calls the cover or sheath a Rangka and an enclosed Tombak with hilt and cover Seken. Like the one in my first post with Tombak. The left one with brass decoration.
And yes I read that some Tombak are sometimes more important as being pusaka with magical powers.
