Hi,

here's one I sold many years ago, which was a very nice (and dated) sword.
The total length was 775mm.

Horn handle with silver endcap, ferrule, handguard and chains. The shape in Javanese style but with a Dutch flavour considering the ribbed grip.

Wooden scabbard, covered in leather with old patina (as seen on the Dutch Marechaussee klewangs), and with a silver scabbardmouth. The sheath also made again in Javanese style with a Dutch touch.

Indigeneous heavy laminated blade / engraved with a "Dutch" date: MEI 1870 (Dutch for MAY 1870).
The blade had an upward curvature and fuller along the back, and had a length of 610mm, and 10mm thick at the spine near the base.
