Are my eyes betraying me or is that a hexagonal brass ferrule? If so, this seems to be a replacement hilt done in Luzon (there would have been a brass end plate fastened by a pin where you can see that hole in the pommel).
BTW, the twisted core Maranao kris is just gorgeous. I assume that's also swaasa inlay along the blade?

i really like the plaque, but my heart belongs to the moro blade, i don't have any idea what the other pieces are but my home gym is just perfect for them
no, the new krises ferrule is not hexagonal, it is of brass construction similar to the other 18th c.kris with twist core. the pommel was carved from a carabao horn (octagonal).
not sure if the inlays on the the bigger kris with twist core is swaasa? but it look like similar material to bands on the handle. should have it checked.
