It is an older Madura keris, & as such I feel that if we want to classify it as ron variation, we really should stick with the designation of Bulu Ayam.
However, I can't make my mind up if this is a bulu ayam or something else that has been attempted. There are a few different pamors that look like the ron kendhuru motifs, & the irregularity of this particular example leaves me wondering just what might have been attempted.
But in any case, it is old, it is miring, it is complex, all this makes it a pretty worthwhile thing to have.
