Thank you for your kind words Detlef, I quite like it myself. Though it does not have the more ornate embellishments of the later examples of its kind its simple styling is still quite attractive. One other point on this is that the upper edge of the blade is sharp from tip to guard unlike a lot of the later examples of this blade style where the upper edge is sharpened from the tip back but stopping short of the guard leaving a section of the spine with a flat surface.
