You could put a good collection of these together for very little money.
They are often on 'that auction site' and are quite fun.
You could use them as decorator items, hang them on the wall and have spider plants growing out of them!

.....actually how about mounting them on the wall (toe down) as a holder for a sword or spear ....you would need something 'above' the 'shoe' (a clip/wire fixed to the wall) to stablise it (the weapon) though.
