As I said in my intro , joining the forum has been an inspiration to really start looking at my collection ( read 'accumulation' !) and so I do intend to begin thinning out especially from the attic pile. I have a lot of takoubas and so will keep some and gradually flog off the rest to enable me to 'reinvest' .
This specimen is 35'' long with a max blade width of 1.75'' and a xguard width of 4'' . All is in very good condition with occasional patches of old rust . The blade edge is very sharp and has a great spring to it. The scabbard is very tidy apart from a small split to the tip which allows 0.25'' of the blade tip to protrude..
