My considered legal opinion is that the posting of photos and/or published works on this forum for
non-commercial purposes is, indeed, "fair use". Credit for authorship, owner or copyright holder should be provided, of course, and reproduction of entire works is something to avoid.
Let's try not to get mired in legal discussions which are tangential to the topic at hand--ethnographic weapons.
