Some similar features for narrowing down?

The markings at the back of the blade also could be seen at the back of some Borneon pakayun blade whilst the hand guards are similar in the sense that they are both circular. If I remember...

I've not seen anything like that in the vicinity or at the state museum and it's likely to be something NOT from Northern Borneo I'd say.

I'd speculate that this Lantaka was probably made in Brunei. Items as such were known to have been made there and although I've seen similar items (at least I think so) as such, I can't be sure about...
