hi, the blade is 9mm thick near the handle , I have cleaned the blade as it had lots of rust spots ,ere are a couple of pics which I think show a hardened edge

ive recently acquired these two spears and I think they are a stabbing type spear but are they Zulu ,the shafts are quite narrow ?
total length122cm blade 35cm.

Thanks for your welcome and input , I agree I think the holes must of been for some type of decoration and over time degraded , this is what I like about old ethnographic weapons they keep you...

im no expert on daggers but I believe this to be a Russian kinjal and quite short compared to others, any info regarding origin marks etc would be appreciated ,total length with scabbard 46cm
