Swords in Dubrovnik

I spent a few lovely days in Dubrovnik (Ragusa) on the Dalmatian coast. Visited the Rector’s Palace and the Maritime Museum but they did not have many swords. Split had more arms in the museum.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was amazing to be there and see the armoury. The guide said the armoury has no stamp or mark of its own.

Yes it makes me fearful for the objects in the museums. That they are not fully appreciated by those in whose care they have been entrusted. The objects form part of our historical heritage.
